Successful model Preetika Rao was born on June 7, 1988 in Manglore, India. She was brought up in Mumbai. She received graduation majoring in History from Sophia College, Mumbai and simultaneously acquired a diploma in advertising and journalism. While studying in college, she was appeared in Cadbury Dairy Milk advertaisement alongside legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. After her best career in modelling, she went to do film journalism. Later she made her debut with tamil romantic film "Chikku Bukku". Her last movie commitment was her Kannada debut, a movie shot in Singapore, titled Rebel with co-star Adithya. After her films, she packed to US to further improve her writing talent and study broadcast journalism.
